About
Pressure Atlas publishes one Pressure reading per UTC day for the global global environment: its state, one of five from Expanded to Compressed, plus its flow: whether Pressure is building or releasing that day, and whether that movement is accelerating or slowing. Each day's reading is final once the UTC day closes, and every way in serves the same reading from the same pipeline.
It is built for AI agents and scripts rather than for people at a screen. An assistant asks for the latest reading and gets just that; a job fetches 90 days in a single call.
Ways to access the data
- MCP server: Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, and any MCP client connect over OAuth or an API key and call the tools directly. Connect a client.
- REST API: a single reading, a window of days, and the dataset catalog over plain HTTPS with an API key. Fetch it over HTTP.
MCP and REST need an account. Create a free account for 90 days of readings, ending a week before the latest, and 200 calls a day.

- What does Pressure measure?
- The state of the global environment, once a day, and its flow. Each UTC day gets one reading: its state, one of five from the least pressure to the most (Expanded, Released, Equilibrium, Pressurized, or Compressed), plus the flow: whether Pressure is building or releasing that day, and whether that movement is accelerating or slowing.

- No. Pressure Atlas measures conditions. It makes no predictions and no recommendations.
- How do I connect?
- Create a free account and point your AI client or script at Pressure Atlas. Claude, ChatGPT, and coding agents connect over OAuth in a couple of clicks; scripts and curl take an API key. The docs walk through every client and call.
- What does an account include?
- 90 days of readings, ending a week before the latest, 200 tool calls a day, and a view of the whole catalog.
- Can I see which AI clients are connected?
- Yes. The dashboard lists every client connected to your account, with its last activity. Disconnect cuts that client off: its access is revoked and it must sign in again, with your approval, to reconnect.
- Can I put it on a wall display?
- Yes, and it's a good look. Open https://pressureatlas.com/?display=1 to strip the chrome away: just the fabric, today's reading, and the recent log. It refreshes on its own and keeps the screen awake. Made for a spare monitor or the TV nobody uses.
